About Me

Gardening is in my bones. I have pursued it all my life both as a hobby and a profession. I’ve grown vegetables on allotments, had greenhouses, worked for interior/exterior landscaping companies, co-run an organic herb nursery, sold home-grown plants at markets, installed ponds, built sheds, pruned apple trees, visited flower shows and organised gardening courses. I’ve helped my friends and neighbours with their gardening problems. I love growing seeds and taking cuttings. I like to be around growing plants, watching them grow.

In the 1990s, I moved up to the Findhorn Community in Scotland and deepened my relationship with gardening. I was introduced to the spiritual concepts of valuing the Earth, Gaia and celebrating the seasons. Seeing ourselves as custodians of this planet of ours.

Now I’m back in city life, I am working as an organic gardener again. It is who I am. It is what I love to do.
